After 6 beautiful years of serving my community as a full-time braider, I’ve made the heartfelt decision to close this chapter of my braiding business.

This choice is bittersweet. Braiding has been more than a career for me—it has been connection, creativity, healing, and ministry. I’ve been blessed to meet incredible people, share meaningful conversations, and be trusted with something as personal as your crown. For that, I will always be grateful.

As I move into a new season, I’m choosing to step back and make space for whatever God has planned next. I don’t know exactly what this next chapter holds, but I know it will be intentional, purposeful, and guided.

I will honor all existing appointments booked for December. Beginning January 2026, my books will be officially closed.

Thank you for your loyalty, your support, your stories, and the love you’ve shown me and my craft over the years. This isn’t goodbye—it’s simply the close of a beautiful chapter and the start of something new.

About Byrd...

It all started back in the day during sleep overs at her cousin house, practicing "dookie braids", "pixie braids" "French braids" and more. Fantasying about being a featured stylist in the "BlackHair" magazine, Byrd became self taught with a lot of popular styles at the time.

Having her oldest son at the age of 17 she really buckled down, got a 9-5 whom she was with for 8yrs but that did not stop her hair grind. She began to build clientele and trust with some of her coworkers who are loyal clients til this day. In 2017 Byrd started 'Byrd's Braiding Chair" which was later changed to "B'Xclusive LLC" in 2019. B’Xclusive’s mission is to provide products and services to B’ Xclusively You. With over 20yrs of experience we are more than just braids. B’Xclusive is a sisterhood of black excellence and hair appreciation. We want you to have the freedom to express your beauty the way you want, and provide you with the tools to do so; therefore, B'Xclusive By Byrd is here when you need us the most.
